From mid-2015 to mid-2016 I lived in Bhutan with my husband, who had gotten a one-year job contract there. During my stay, I wrote one-line “microblogs” about funny/interesting/mundane things that were part of my daily life. And I doodled. This zine is a compilation of those microblogs with my illustrations, and short memoir vignettes written this year, as I reflected on the experience while putting the zine together.

This is the first collaboration between Soot Sprite Books and Studio GoodBad. The zine’s design, materials, and hand-stitched binding are all courtesy of William Bottini of Studio GoodBad. William’s a super weird, super talented multimedia artist I am proud to call my friend. For more about William and Studio GoodBad, check out his website here.

I wanted to keep these fun and casual, so these are light enough to ship in a regular letter-sized envelope via USPS.
